11-20-02 - 9:15 p.m.

Hmm ... Well, no 7 pages. I wrote one page, sort of, and that was on Sunday. No surprise there, but it was still disappointing. Oh well. People are always surprised when I tell them what a procrastinator I am. I tend to give people false impressions about myself. In the process of not getting much done on my paper, however, I did learn some more about why I don't get these things done. So it was educational. I also got other things done that I needed to, so the weekend wasn't entirely unproductive.

I am trying to streamline some parts of my life, mostly the disappointing or distracting parts. We'll see how it works.

I have interesting coworkers. Just thought you'd like to know.

Oh yes, and I forgot to mention two things before:

1. Two Saturdays ago I found my friend Tim who I hadn't talked to in a few months because he dropped off the face of the planet temporarily. But I randomly saw him at the library. And I found out he now lives 10 minutes away rather than 40 minutes, so that makes me happy.

2. I had a dream one night that I was in 7-11 and they had two new flavors of Coke: chocolate and beef. I didn't try either of them.

I also got my other friend Jason's e-mail address a few days ago (a different Jason from the one who visited a few weeks ago), so now I'm back in contact with him, too. I'm in find-old-friend mode.

One of the things I got done on Sunday was watching Star Trek: The Motion Picture. I've had this plan to watch all the Star Trek movies before the next one comes out (Dec. 13). I've been procrastinating on that, too. Do you think I can squeeze them all in?

Oh, and I've decided not to bother with my website until January.
