Aaand I'm done. I'm mildly uneasy about my exam and my grade in that class, but ultimately it doesn't matter. I predict I will get a C in the class, and with that my GPA will still be a 3.71. If I get a B, it will be a 3.78. Doctoral admissions people seem to like at least a 3.5, so I think I'm okay. I'm sure you wanted to know all that. I just wanted to get it out of my system.

For Christmas many months ago, the employees of the college each got $60 gift certficates to Stratford Square Mall. Shortly afterward, I went there and bought ... socks. But then I wandered around to see what else I could spend it on, and I found ... a GameStop!!! So I decided I would buy myself a used PlayStation One at the end of the school year. I bought it Saturday! It is the first console game system I have ever owned. And I got Final Fantasy IX to go with it because I started playing that a couple of years ago and didn't get to finish because I was just borrowing it. Plus I love the music, which, IMO, is the best thing about an RPG besides the plot. As I told my mom on the phone, I'm living my life in reverse. I didn't have an actual adolescence, so now I'm having one.
