I suppose I can talk about this now that everyone's being less secretive. I have a friend from college who just recently exited a cult. You can read all about it here. It's a little bit out of date because there is now no one in the group, besides the leader, if that counts. My friend was the last one, and now he's out. I helped a little with the process of getting him and his brother out. It's definitely one of the more interesting (and stressful) things I've done in my life. It was kind of surreal, actually. I don't think I could ever take it up as a career. But I did get to meet some terrific people along the way.
